Black History Program

Black History Wax Museum
Students participated in the Black History Wax Museum on Feb. 25, 2010. Students researched the inventions and accomplishments of famous African-Americans and dressed-up as characters in an interactive demonstration. Follow this link to see the pictures.
PTA Reflections Banquet
The Annual PTA Reflections Banquet was held on Feb. 21, 2010 at the Davis Center in Birmingham. There were eight student winners from Central Park School at the city-level in Visual Arts, Literature and Music Composition.

Spelling Bee Winners

KaBoom and the Junior League of Birmingham

Cinco de Mayo
The Cinco de Mayo celebration was held on the 5th of May at the school. Students in each class learned about the events in Mexico related to Cinco de Mayo. The 'Mariachi Rioverde' band performed for the school. View the Pictures
Music Tech Ensemble
The Music Tech Ensemble at Central Park School performed for the annual All City Band Evaluation on April 30, 2009 at the school. The students received a Superior Rating.
